Unwashed Rocksand 0-4 mm

Definition of sand: EUWRS 0-4 mm is an unwashed crushed basaltic product consisting mainly of aggregates passing a 4 mm sieve.

Basic use: EUWRS 0-4 mm is specially formulated and manufactured for cellular blocks and masonry works. It may also be used in mortar for roughcasting and bedding.

Quality Specifications: EUWRS 0-4 mm consist of crushed rock sand and shall be hard, durable, clean and free from adherent coatings, such as clay, and any appreciable amount of clay in pellet form.

Quality Test

EUWRS 0-4 mm is tested on a regular basis at Eastern Laboratory and tests are also performed by external Laboratories to ensure consistency in quality of sand. Furthermore, RS Management Support Ltd has set up a quality control system based on ISO9001:2015 to ensure quality requirements are met.

washed Rocksand 0-2 mm

Washed Rocksand 0-2 mm is a washed crushed basaltic product consisting mainly of aggregates passing a 2.36 mm BS sieve.

WRS 0-2 mm is specially formulated and manufactured to produce rendering mortar for use in internal plastering, external rendering and roughcasting. It may also be used for concrete.

WRS 0-2 mm consists of crushed rocksand and shall be hard, durable, clean and free from adherent coatings, such as clay, and any appreciable amount of clay in pellet form.

washed Rocksand 0-4 mm

Aggregates mainly passing a 5.0 mm BS 410 test sieve and containing no coarser material than is permitted for the various grading in the specifications.

WRS 0-4 mm is a washed crushed basaltic product consisting mainly of aggregates passing a 4 mm sieve.

EWRS 0-4mm is specially formulated and manufactured for concrete, cellular blocks and masonry work. It may also be used in mortar for roughcasting.
